What does it take to be an excellent buyer's agent? First and foremost the agents MUST know their market. They must be familiar with not only the inventory available but also homes that that have recently sold or gone under contract. Buyer's agents must also be excellent listeners. They must understand what unique set of needs and circumstances our clients have that need to be met. They must integrate what they learn about their clients and what they know about different towns, neighborhood's and schools to find the perfect match. Above all they must be a strong advocate for their buyer's. It is their goal to not only find you your perfect home but to ensure that the process of purchasing that home is a stress-free as possible. They must have the tools to advise you on the steps to take to obtain a mortgage, negotiate the best price and terms for the home you would like to purchase. Navigate you through your home inspection and home inspection resolution. Gail and Cathi love being buyer's agents. They love the process of getting to know their clients, introducing them to different homes and neighborhood's. Helping them discover the secret charms of our towns. They love the excitement their buyer's feel when they walk into the home that is "the one." They love taking them back for that 2nd look with friends and family. They love making that phone call saying "You got the house!" They love coming over with the moving day dinner and watching their clients turn that house into their home! Give Gail and Cathi a call today and see if we can take the first step towards "bringing you home."

Relocation >Considering Locations
The large, stately house that you drive by every morning on the way to work has had a "For Sale" sign sitting in the front yard for months. When you finally call for an appointment and see the house--you love it! And the price is lower than prices for similar houses on quieter side streets.
Houses located on busy streets may represent excellent buys in terms of space and amenities for the price. Some buyers who are very sensitive to noise or concerned about small children or pets may automatically rule out houses that are located on busy residential streets. If you don't share these same concerns, you won't consider a busy location to be a deterrent to buying the property. If the sellers have made pricing concessions on the property based on its location, this could provide an opportunity for you to own a far grander house than you thought you could afford!
Just remember that when you sell the house, the pool of prospective buyers may be smaller, and you may have to pass on a similar price break to the next owner.
